
On November 23, 2022, at 2022 hours, while assigned to a DUI patrol, a Forks Township police officer observed a vehicle travel through a steady red light without stopping. The officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Uhler Road and Kesslersville Road. During the course of the traffic stop, the officer detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Alaysia Figueroa, admitted to possessing a jar which contained multiple clear sandwich baggies of leaf marijuana. Figueroa provided consent to search a backpack inside the vehicle, which contained drug paraphernalia. Alaysia Figueroa was charged with (1 count) Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and (5 counts) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
