Members of the public have been advised to avoid a major street in the Brisbane CBD with a police operation underway.
Queensland police advised Charlotte Street is closed between Edward and Albert Streets in the CBD due to a ‘police incident’ on Wednesday morning.
The details of what has caused the street closure are not as yet known but paramedics including critical care are believed to be on the scene.
Police advised there is no immediate risk to members of the public.
